Thanksgiving is here and it’s time to start cooking! Wait … you haven’t gone grocery shopping yet? Well, if you’re in Vegas, we’ve got you covered with a few of our favorite, sumptuous spots to grab a turkey dinner on The Strip. Whether you were planning on a traditional family-centered meal, are doing the Millennial-approved Friendsgiving, turning it into a date night, or going solo, there are some great options.
Las Vegas Boulevard – known locally and internationally alike as “The Strip” – is one of the most iconic streets in the world. The Strip has some of the most alluring and upscale casinos, bars, restaurants, nightclubs, and other venues of entertainment.
Even if you decide not to play or engage in a bit of ‘sinful’ behavior, it makes sense to plan well in advance to have that once-in-a-lifetime Thanksgiving dinner at one of these exquisite restaurants of Las Vegas.
For that classic Strip experience …

The Strip House is where you should be heading towards if you are looking for that classic Old Vegas feel. Its ambience takes you back to the 1940s and 50s, replete with images of dancing girls from the past, and music from the Classic Hollywood era. This classic American steakhouse should be your first choice if you are looking for a Thanksgiving experience that brings the best of what Las Vegas has got to offer: glamour, style, and quality.
Searsucker, CAESARS palace
This elegant steakhouse brings the good ol’ Americana to your table, complete with an all-you-can-eat feast of a Thanksgiving dinner. Searsucker’s a-la-carte menu offers a lot more, and regulars recommend the Jalapeno-Chorizo Corn for sides. The place also serves great cocktails, and is known for its laid-back atmosphere. After all, you don’t plan to go all the way to Vegas to have your Thanksgiving dinner in a hurry, do you?
Stack, Mirage

If tender steaks, turkey and apple pies are what you are looking for, you should plan right away to book your table at Stack, in the Mirage Hotel & Casino. The ambience is a little offbeat and resembles a canyon, but the hardwood interiors reassure you of the old world decadence of Las Vegas. It is also a great place for desserts, and what’s a Thanksgiving dinner without a sugar-laden dessert?

The Strip isn’t called the most scenic urban street in the USA for nothing. To enjoy the glittering neon-lit street views and have an elegant dinner or drink, Eiffel Tower restaurant is one of the best places in the city. If you make a reservation before 4:30 pm on normal days, they reserve table by the window for you to soak in the Strip’s exquisite beauty. We suggest booking a window-side table right away for your Thanksgiving dinner, as lots of people will have similar ideas. Though the place is known for French cuisine, most people would agree if we said French do the Thanksgiving dinner the best.
Don’t fancy a heavy dinner? Grab a drink in style …
Mandarin Bar, Mandarin ORiental
Not everyone enjoys a full course Thanksgiving meal, though they would love to celebrate the day for its essence. If you would like to keep your calories low, and enjoy the best of Las Vegas nightlife on Thanksgiving Day, Mandarin Bar should be your first option. Located on the 23rd floor, this bar gives you a chic and elegant way to celebrate Thanksgiving in style. Their cocktails, starters and finger-food are just perfect, much like the glittering views of the Strip all around you.
Picasso, Bellagio

If wine is what makes you tick, there is no place better than the charming and elegant Picasso at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino. With more than 1,500 wines from various vineyards of Europe, Picasso is the place to spoil yourself on the Thanksgiving night. Their menu is also vegetarian-friendly, while the carnivores can savor the taste of exotic veal and quail. Very different from the usual Thanksgiving fare, but certainly worth considering.
It goes without saying that tables may be booked in advance on the Strip for Thanksgiving. Though locals usually steer clear of typical touristy areas, Thanksgiving is a different ballgame altogether. Call ahead and bon appetit!
